Six steps, from water to rack.

At Rafmarin your boat never sits in the water, never stands outdoors and never touches another boat. Here is the process, step by step:

  1. 1 · Measure
  2. 2 · Haul-out
  3. 3 · Transport
  4. 4 · Rack
  5. 5 · Storage
  6. 6 · Launch

Measurement and classification

We record your boat's overall length, maximum beam, dry weight and hull type. Height-adding equipment such as a fixed T-top, radar arch or wakeboard tower affects the rack class; we settle these up front.

Haul-out

At our partner ramp we lift your boat straight out of the water by forklift. No straps or hooks touch the hull; the boat rests on the cradle along its own keel line.

Transport to the facility

The boat is moved to our facility by forklift, on its cradle. On arrival it gets its first wash: salt, algae and dirt are removed from the hull.

Rack placement

Placement and retrieval are done by forklift; the boat is placed on the rack together with its cradle for storage.

Storage period

During storage your boat waits in its enclosed, supervised rack section; engine service and winterization are available on request.

Launch preparation and delivery

On your notice one day ahead (48 hours in peak season), your boat is taken off the rack, final checks are made and it is launched at the ramp at the time you set. On your return, the same process runs in reverse.

Send us your boat's dimensions and we'll send a firm quote within 24 hours.

Length, weight and T-top/tower info is enough. We'll assign the class.
